Episode 2 - My Journey
October 9, 2003

Turk and Carla finally set a wedding date, April 24. Already, J.D. is starting to feel sad about how his friendship with Turk will change once he gets married. He and Turk go out on a man-date so they can reminisce about their wild and crazy days. But their date comes to a quick end because Turk brought Todd (Robert Maschio) along because he didn't want to get "deep" with J.D. It's not really a guy thing to do that.

Turk later changes his mind about having dinner with J.D. when he learns from his patient Will that two men can get close and share deep feelings. Will happens to be gay, which freaks Turk out a little bit. Will's fiancee is also black and bears a striking resemblance to Turk. Turk realizes that the relationship he and J.D. have is really special.

It's too early for Elliot to be thinking about getting married because Sean (Scott Foley) tells her that they are still just friends. She broke his heart when she chose her job over him and he doesn't want to go through that again. She and Sean plan a date, but as usual, a patient prevents her from going on the date. Sean hangs ups on her when she calls to tell him that she can't make dinner.

After realizing that her hospital duties will always come first before anything, Elliot meets Sean at Sea World, where he trains the dolphins and Shamu and lets Sean know that she wants to be with him, but understands if he can't deal with her being a doctor. He answers her with a big kiss.

Carla becomes obsessed with a urine specimen that was left on the counter of the nurses' station. The identity of the sample is unknown because the label has been torn off. She is determined to find out who left the specimen, even enlisting the help of the janitor. After searching through some trash bags, he actually finds the torn label. Relieved, Carla returns the label to the lab.
