After Turk overhears Dr. Cox almost tell Carla what he really thinks about him, Turk asks Cox to tell him anyway. It’s not very flattering. Turk is afraid that Cox’s opinion of him will influence Carla so much that she won’t want to marry him. But their relationship becomes more strained when Turk rejects Dr. Cox’s patient, Mr. Iverson (Mike Starr), for a liver transplant because he recently drank some champagne, which can disqualify you from the list. Because Mr. Iverson had been on the list for so long, Cox was hoping that this was his final chance for a transplant.
Cox then tells Turk that he’ll have to be the one to give Mr. Iverson the bad news, which he does. Then Turk tells Cox that he should have been the one to tell that to his patient. Elliot’s patient, Miss Himsel has pancreatic cancer. The thought of her possibly dying while still a virgin prompts her to ask Elliot and Carla’s help to have sex. They decide to get a male prostitute for her from the motel where Elliot’s mom stays during her visits. They end up getting arrested for trying to buy the services of a prostitute. They call J.D. to come bail them out. Since the male prostitute idea didn’t work out, Ted fills in, since he already knows Miss Himsel from drawing up her will. Because she caught Cox and Jordan having sex, Danni (Tara Reid) asks J.D. if she can crash at his place for a while. He says yes, but starts to have second thoughts when he hears horror stories from Dr. Cox. He doesn’t have the courage to tell her, so she moves in. |
