Episode 20 - My Fault
April 22, 2004

Everyone seems to have issues with everyone else this week. Dr. Cox is surprised when Dr. Kelso asks his opinion about offering full-body scans at Sacred Heart. Cox tells him that he thinks it's a bad idea. Kelso seems to agree. But, later at the neighborhood bar, Cox is shocked to see a television ad and a giant billboard urging people to come in and get scanned. Turk and Carla's wedding plans have been going relatively smoothly so far, until Carla freaks out over the wedding cake. And Danni blurts out the name Danny while she and J.D. are having sex. J.D. thinks she's calling out her own name. When he tells her that they shouldn't see each other any more, she stuns him by saying she's been seeing and sleeping with another guy named Danny.

To Cox's surprise, one person does come in for a scan, Mr. Corman. He's all excited to have the scan, but changes his mind when Cox informs him that his insurance company won't pay for it. But Kelso gets the last word when he tells Mr. Corman that his scan is on the house. Cox then tells him that if he doesn't get the scan, he'll give him free medical care for the rest of his life.

Things had been going very well with Turk and Dr. Miller (Bellamy Young), until she surprisingly asked him to hold the fat flaps during surgery while Todd got to actually do the procedure. Turk realizes why she is treating him differently when Carla tells him that she uninvited Dr. Miller to the wedding since they had too many RSVPs. J.D. gets a jolt of his own when Elliot tells him that Sean has said yes to moving in with her.

Later, he finally gets up the nerve to tell her how he really feels about her. Caught off guard, Elliot doesn't have a response. After she's had time to think about it, she tells Sean that it won't work out between them. She shows up at J.D.'s apartment, ready to start their relationship.

At the cake shop, Turk gets upset when he sees two white figures on top of the cake. Carla tries to tell him that they don't have interracial figurines, but that does little to appease him. When he realizes that she got him a big screen TV so he could watch the basketball playoffs at the reception, he realizes what a wonderful woman Carla is.
