Season 4, Episode 7 - My Common Enemy

J.D. is shocked to find Dan (Tom Cavanagh) and Elliot making out in the on-call room. Their relationship has been going on for a few weeks, but surprisingly, J.D. isn't that upset. Turk suggests that J.D. pretend that their relationship has really hurt him, causing Elliot to feel guilty, thereby restoring their friendship back to normal. J.D. doesn't have long to bask in his happiness when Dan tells him that Elliot dumped him.

J.D. stops by unannounced at Elliot's apartment to tell her that her relationship with Dan really didn't bother him. He arrives to find her dressed in sexy pajamas, candles lit, champagne chilling and a Dido CD playing on the stereo, all the items Dan had bought a few days ago. Dan himself appears from under the blanket on the couch. Their relationship isn't really over after all. But, J.D. also realizes that neither he nor Elliot have romantic feelings for each other and they can try to get their friendship back on track.

Dr. Kelso asks Molly Clock (Heather Graham) for a prescription for anti-depressants for his wife, Enid. She declines of course. Not used to being turned down and sick of her always cheerful attitude, Dr. Kelso, with Dr. Cox's help, vows to get back at her. Kelso thinks he's got her when he tells her that she can't go to her mother's wedding in Mexico, but she takes the news with her usual happy demeanor. which makes Kelso and Cox crazy. They try to get her upset. But instead she fools them and gets on her airport shuttle to go to the wedding.

Carla is offered a better paying job, but uses Turk's diabetes as an excuse to turn it down, even though she didn't want the job anyway.
