Rick Schroder is a Golden Globe winner who has evolved from child star to adult success. Although he was first known for his role on the NBC comedy "Silver Spoons" for five seasons, Schroder also recently starred for three years on "NYPD Blue" as Detective Danny Sorenson opposite Dennis Franz. In addition, he starred in the television movies "The Lost Battalion" and "What We Did That Night."

Some of Schroder's other television projects include the mini-series "Lonesome Dove," the TV movies "Stranger Within," "To My Daughter, with Love" and the leading role in an adaptation of Jack London's "Call of the Wild." His feature-film credits include the independent features "Poolhall Junkies," which is scheduled for release in 2003, "Across the Tracks," "There Goes My Baby," "The Earthling," "Crimson Tide," and "The Champ" (opposite Jon Voight and Faye Dunaway, for which he earned his Golden Globe at the age of 8).
